About Us

I'm Skylar the owner of Louie Lou's LLC and this is Louie, the model and dedication of Louie Lou's.  I got Louie May of 2023 and he has been the biggest blessing to my life since. He is a sweet and loving Cavapoo who turned 1 on 02.18.24 the same day as the official launch of Louie Lou's LLC.  He is the reason I went through with my passion of providing you fun and stylish apparel and accessories for your fur-babies. 

Shortly after I got Louie I had the idea of possibly creating this small business.  I stayed up late one night creating my name, logo, and writing down all the products I'd love to offer.  I got so excited about it and then realized all that I would have to dedicate to it and let fear of the unknown take over.  I sat on the idea for about 5 months and then decided to apply for the LLC.  After gathering everything and being so excited yet terrified, I decided to set the launch date and go through with following my dream.  I am so happy I did and am so excited to learn and grow with you all through this new chapter!

Backstory of my life is I was born and raised in a second generation family of owning two restaurants local to Wausau (Wausau Mine Company) and Rothschild (Papillons Pizza) Wisconsin.  I love both restaurants but Papillons holds a very special place in my heart.  I have countless regulars who have gone from strangers to family friends and they've taught me the true meaning of loyalty, love, and support.  Without them, I probably wouldn't of had the confidence to go through with this journey.  Papillons is the local pick up for orders as I hope you get to stop in and visit in a place I call home. With having a background in how operations work with small businesses on top of completing my Marketing degree, I am so excited to use my knowledge and skills to be the best business I can be for you!  I have so much love and passion for Louie Lou's that I hope you love the products as much as I do.  Thank you so much for being here and for supporting our dream.
